ADHD
Support for attention, organization, follow-through, emotional regulation, and the frustration that can come with managing daily responsibilities with ADHD.
I am a seminary-trained Licensed Clinical Therapist and Military Combat Veteran who served in overseas ministry for more than three years. I help adults understand what they are facing, process difficult experiences, and move toward greater steadiness and relief.

As a combat veteran, mother, and former overseas ministry worker, I bring a broad perspective to counseling. I have worked successfully with people from many backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and religious faiths. That background helps me meet clients with authenticity, respect, and an understanding that each person’s story is different.
We work together to understand the concerns bringing you to counseling, identify what needs to change, and build a treatment plan around your goals. My aim is not only to support you through a difficult season, but to help you find a meaningful way forward and restore a greater sense of stability.
I am trained in EMDR and use evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, attachment-based therapy, emotionally focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused methods according to each client’s needs.
For clients seeking it, Christian beliefs and spiritual reflection can be integrated naturally into the therapeutic work.

Support for attention, organization, follow-through, emotional regulation, and the frustration that can come with managing daily responsibilities with ADHD.
Understanding patterns that keep anxiety or depression going, building usable coping strategies, and creating movement when daily demands feel overwhelming or stuck.
Understanding trauma responses, reducing distress, addressing avoidance and triggers, and helping difficult experiences become less controlling.
Counseling informed by military culture and the realities of service, deployment, transition, relationships, loss, and adjusting after the military.
With seminary training and ministry experience, I offer a Christian counseling perspective for clients who want faith to be part of the therapeutic process.
EMDR may be incorporated when it fits your goals and clinical needs, particularly when past experiences continue to create distress in the present.
My goal is to help you move beyond simply surviving and begin living with greater peace and purpose.
I bring authenticity, compassion, and a grounded perspective to therapy. We begin by clarifying what brought you to counseling and what feels hardest right now. From there, we collaborate on goals and choose methods that fit you rather than forcing everyone through the same process.
Some clients benefit from structured trauma treatment such as EMDR. Others need usable strategies for ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, changing roles, or difficult relationships. Sessions should stay connected to your circumstances and focused on changes that matter to you.
